CV

I retell stories through jewellery which is figurative and inspired by literature. Having worked for a publishing house for over a decade, I think it is natural that most of my inspiration originates from literary masterpieces. Included in this is my first meta-narrative collection, Gogol’s Overcoat-Literary obsession, which has been selected for a number of exhibitions. During my postgraduate studies at the University for the Creative Arts, I also found further inspiration in the way other narrative jewellers’ relate their stories, focusing on honesty and authenticity, and on expressing unique thoughts and emotions.

I am still learning:

2018 -2019 University for the Creative Arts, MA Jewellery

2015-2017 Assamblage Contemporary Jewellery School, Bucharest (I’ll come back for more courses)

2019 – ‘7 Artists For 7 Days 2019’ , Mydaybyday Gallery, Rome

2019 – in Response, Craft Sudy Centre, Farnham
